Alexandra Schless appointed CEO of The Datacenter Group/NLDC combination

Alexandra Schless is the Chief Executive Officer of the new company created by the merger of The Datacenter Group and NLDC. Majority shareholder DWS announced this news today. Schless will head up the integration of the two businesses.
DWS announced the takeover of the two data centre businesses earlier this year. The German asset manager also announced today that the takeover of NLDC, previously part of telecommunications firm KPN, has been finalised. The merger of the two businesses will create the largest regional independent data centre company in the Netherlands, at 50,000m2 in size. DWS also announced today that the British technology entrepreneur Michael Tobin has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the new company.
Schless: “I’m looking forward to being part of the experienced team in place at the start of this new company, with clients including large corporates, government authorities, cloud and IT service providers, and smaller businesses. Our presence in various towns and cities across the Netherlands means we can offer our clients an excellent level so services nationwide. The company will offer a wide range of date centre services, and advise and support clients in the digital transformation towards a cloud environment.”
A Dutch national, Schless previously held positions such as Vice President Global Accounts, Networks an Channel EMEA at Equinix and Vice President Western Europe and Managing Director Netherlands at the TelecityGroup. Thanks to these positions, she has built up extensive experience and expertise in the data centre sector.

Security Architect with a focus into Cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform) needed. You must have client facing consultancy experience. This mean you must have experience working with clients helping them to meet their security design needs. That could include working with existing internal teams to understand, review and mitigate / uplift existing Cloud Security designs, or perhaps helping clients set out / understand their current needs and deliver their cloud security strategy.
